A lot of people ask me what does MGD King mean? Well, it was a nickname given to me because I used to drink large quantities of Miller Genuine Draft. Someone mentioned to me that I was the King of MGD, and so it stuck.
I mentioned back in September when I upgraded to BlogEngine 3.0 that I was contemplating building a new theme with a dark or iron/metal look and feel to it. Well, here it is! Heavy Metal!
It uses a bit of the standard theme from BE days of old so it has a little of that layout and feel to it. But it has a certain darkness to it, almost industrial look that I really like.
I have submitted this theme to the official BlogEngine.NET Gallery and once it has been tested and approved it will be available for download from your BE Admin Dashboard if you decide you want to run it on your blog.
I'll keep this up for a while until I get bored with it and then I'll create something new. It's always interesting to see other themes whether or not they're built for BlogEngine.NET because some are just blow me away at how creative and fresh they are.

Hi King Good Job, and thank you for submit.
if you have time, we can work on more themes for BlogEngine.
Thanks Farzin!! The work that you do with BlogEngine is phenomenal! I only hope that I can be 25% as good as you are!
Without any widgets in the bottom container, the copyright bar floats, which looks bad. Could you please fix it?
I guess I hadn't thought about not having widgets at the bottom. When I designed the theme I was going with the idea that was the "in" thing to do these days. I'll work on a fix as time allows but I don't know when I'll get it uploaded.
change: margin-top: -400px; to margin-top: -350px;
add: position: relative;
add: position: absolute; bottom: 0px; width: 100%;
With those changes it looks good with up to 3 bottom widgets and acceptable with none.
OK, I'll take a look and update the theme soon.
