Outlook for the Atlantic, Caribbean and the Gulf of Mexico…

Hurricane Whodat is predicted to make landfall on the South Florida coast in the vicinity of Miami on 7 Feb 2010 at approximately 2200Z (5:00 PM EST). This extremely powerful hurricane is expected to produce damaging Shockey waves and Category 5 Brees. Reports from shipping indicate that this unstoppable storm has blown a huge flock of Cardinals all the way to Arizona, and that it has sunk a replica Viking longboat, the Brettigfǻvren. Livestock, in particular young horses, will be in severe danger of being decimated. Predictive damage estimates are unavailable at this time, but they are expected to be significant.

All interests in and near the Miami area are advised to prepare for a storm surge of catastrophic proportions as Hurricane Whodat begins to arrive in approximately 5 days.

Fox Sports Broadcaster Larry McReynolds stated that NASCAR needs to address a few issues and I couldn’t agree more. While I agree with changing the “Car of Tomorrow” (or COT as it’s been called) to make it more “racy”, and doing away with the Top 35 Owner Points rule which states that those car owners who are in the top 35 in standings automatically get into the race, I think there’s some things that need to change and if I was in charge of NASCAR, these are the changes I’d make. After the Daytona 500 all I want to say is that Dale Jr. should have been parked by NASCAR or at least penalized for aggressive driving after causing that pile up yesterday! Had it been anyone else, they probably would have. Unfortunately, NASCAR doesn’t want to upset Jr. Nation (read REVENUE MAKERS) or else ticket sales and TV ratings would plummet.
