How To Delete Thumbs.db in Windows 7

If you’re like me you get annoyed at those little thumbs.db files that Windows has been leaving around every time you use Windows Explorer to view a folder. It really became frustrating when I was working on a project that parsed the contents of a directory to an XML file (more on that project later I hope!) and I kept seeing thumbs.db in my list! Windows 7 Release Date Announced

According to The Windows 7 Team Blog, Microsoft will release Windows 7 on October 22, 2009 just in time for the holiday season. There will be six versions of Windows 7; Starter Edition, Home Premium, Professional, Enterprise, Ultimate, and Home Basic. The price for each version hasn’t been released.

After working with the beta version and now with the RC, I’m looking forward to this release. I’ve been using XP because of all of the horror stories associated with Vista when it was released and I really like the way that 7 (or as some put it Vista RC2) manages memory, especially when you have multiple applications running. Who Is MGD King?

MGD KingA lot of people ask me what does MGD King mean? Well, it was a nickname given to me because I used to drink large quantities of Miller Genuine Draft. Someone mentioned to me that I was the King of MGD, and so it stuck.
